Best Times to Travel to Egypt and Jordan
The best time period to visit Egypt is from October to April, and the best times to visit Jordan are from March to May and September to November, when the pleasant temperatures in both countries range from 23–27°C (75–81°F). During these months, there is less rainfall and more clear weather.
When planning your trip across Egypt and Jordan, we recommend considering the best time to visit Egypt as a basis for your travel duration. Egypt has distinct seasonal changes, with comfortable temperatures from October to April. However, from May to September, Egypt reaches its hottest temperatures, with highs ranging from 35–42°C (95–108°F).
On the other hand, Jordan is suitable to visit year-round. Even during the winter from December to February, the temperatures in Jordan hover around 15°C (59°F), which doesn't significantly affect your trip. For trips during Christmas and the New Year, departing before December 20th is beneficial for obtaining cheaper international flight tickets.
